Balancing time for school work, sports, family, and friends is not the easiest thing,
I was unaware of how much work I would have this week and all the stress it would bring.
Practing every day after school takes up a lot of valuable time to get things complete,
but I had no choice, because during the weekend the cheerleaders needed to compete.
Weekends are always the best time to get the most amount of work out of the way,
You have more energy and can work all throughout the day.
But during the day Saturday and Sunday I had to go to cheerleading competitions,
And Sunday night I had to go out to eat for my aunt's birthday because it's tradition.
I had homework, papers to write, and scholarship applications to fill,
The only time I could think of was Saturday night, my time to chill.
"Should I stay home or go out?" was something I had asked.
Even though I didn't want to, I started my work at last.
I was upset thinking I was stuck home while everyone was having fun,
But while all my friends were out, I did what needed to be done.
By the time Sunday came, I did not have any stress,
Getting all my work done turned out to be a success!
Haha i know how you fell... it's a very goo poem :D
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain...this kind of reminds me when I unfortunately have a track meet the day before a big test. The meet takes up the whole day and I never have time to study.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately life as a high school student isn't as easy as everyone thinks it is and this is a good example of that lol great poem!
